HANOVER TOWNSHIP — A family-owned business in Luzerne County has filed for chapter seven bankruptcy, meaning the business will be liquidated.
At an auction at Penn Refrigeration in April, the company sold nearly all its equipment.
Court documents say the company defaulted on a $300,000 loan.
The company laid off many of its workers at the end of 2012.
The old Penn Refrigeration building in Hanover Township has not been sold yet in Luzerne County.
