CARBONDALE — A community event was held Tuesday to help a student battling cancer.
What The Fork food truck and Pieroguys Pierogies are teamed up for a benefit in Lackawanna County.
Lunch was served at Carbondale Area High School, and from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. , they’re dishing out dinner.
The businesses tell us a portion of the profits will be given to Kayla Nakonechni and her family. The Penn State senior from Carbondale is battling cancer.
In addition to food, there are activities for kids and live music.
