SOUTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP — A deadly two car crash on interstate 81 slowed traffic Friday morning.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. just south of the Waverly exit in South Abington Township.
The coroner said , Joseph Lewis, 54, of Scranton man died in the crash.
State Police said Lewis hit a concrete barrier and then a bridge post after the driver of the other vehicle hit a guide rail and overturned.
Authorities said that driver, Jame Kemble, 63, of New Milford received minor injuries.
Lewis died at the scene after that crash in Lackawanna County.
