The state Superior Court announced Wednesday that it has denied the appeal request from former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky.
An appeals hearing was held at the Luzerne County Courthouse in Wilkes-Barre two weeks ago.
Sandusky’s lawyer claims he did not have enough time to put together a proper defense for the former coach.
Sandusky was found guilty on more than 40 counts of child sex crimes.
He is currently serving what amounts to a life sentence.
