RENOVO — Two people are accused of stealing more than $50,000 from an emergency services organization in Clinton County.
State police say Gary Cummings, 38, and his girlfriend, Pennie Bodley, 28, both of Renovo, took money from the Fireman’s Ambulance Service Team (FAST).
At the time, Cummings was the president of the organization.
According to troopers, the couple spent more than $13,000 at Walmart, withdrew more than $28,000 from ATMs and wrote checks for personal use totaling more than $13,000.
The alleged theft was discovered after a member looked at a bank statement and noticed there was only $2 in the account.
