SCRANTON — A judge in Lackawanna County sentenced a man who admitted to firing a gunshot at a vehicle on the Casey Highway in March.

Daniel Parliament, 31, of Beach Lake, must serve up to three years in prison.

Earlier this year, Parliament pleaded guilty to pulling a gun and firing at a pickup truck as he drove.

State police in Lackawanna County said Parliament got angry after the driver of the pickup tapped his brakes.

Parliament must also pay $250 in restitution to the victim.
