FORTY FORT -- People were celebrating history over the weekend in Luzerne County.

The Denison House in Forty Fort held its seventh annual Colonial Celebration Sunday.

The place was once the homestead of Nathan Denison, one of the first settlers in the Wyoming Valley.

Classical music, art, and vintage firearms on display took people back to the late 18th century.

"The whole point in having it is to show the type of weapon, and what type of an ignition system, and what type of technology was used in weaponry in colonial times," said Bob Mischak of Denison Advocates.

The Denison Advocates held the colonial harvest festival.

The group helps maintain the home in Luzerne County, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
