HAZLETON — Police are investigating a hit and run in Hazleton.
Authorities said Leopoldo Cruz, 70, was struck while crossing Diamond and Church Streets Sunday morning.
Officers said the driver never stopped. Cruz was taken to the hospital.
Hazleton police have not released his current condition. They believe the car used in the hit and run was a silver 2010 Volkswagon Jetta.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the car is asked to call police.
