DENNISON TOWNSHIP — A traffic stop in Luzerne County turned into a drug bust that landed one man behind bars.

Michael Cunningham, 20, of Philadelphia was a passenger in a car that was pulled over Saturday night on Interstate 80 near Hazleton.

Troopers stopped the car for following another vehicle too closely.

Upon searching the vehicle, state police found more than 200 packs of heroin, two dozen bags of cocaine, as well as marijuana and several thousand dollars in cash.

Cunningham is locked up in the Luzerne County prison.
