HAZLETON -- Authorities claim two people were busted with drugs during a raid on a home in Hazleton on Tuesday.
Police said Melvin Vargas and Joanne Leitzel were inside the home on Alter Street at the time of the bust.
Officers said they found 750 bags of heroin and more than $1,200. Two guns and drug paraphernalia were also confiscated.
Vargas and Leitzel face a slew of drug charges. They are both locked up in Luzerne County jail.
