Senior forward Megan Getz scores a goal for the Mountain View Lady Eagles soccer team. It is one of many on the young season for the undefeated team. High hopes remain with seven starters back from a team that finished with a record of (18-1-1) a year ago.

"Like I said we're in a different level this year from playing Christopher Dock and Loyalsock last year, and being in the states we got that little taste of states and we want it real bad. We're pushing so hard and working so hard to get it," said Megan Getz.

Jenny Molenko has pushed her career scoring mark to 100. The senior recently hit the century plateau against Mid-Valley scoring the 6th goal of the game-6 also being her number.

"100 goals was something my mom told me back my freshman year, and I said no way Mom that's not happening and she goes you wait you will see and now today's the day honestly it feels like more fortunate than my birthday and I'm just excited to be here and excited to play with my team because their my family," said Jenny Molenko.

"To see her mature as a player-she's gone from a descent player-to a great scorer and a great teammate and now she's our best captain and she's our big leader," said Errol Mannick.

With the boy's winning a state title last year the competition level between the boy's and the girl's has grown to a new level inside the school, and I'll tell you what these girl's can handle themselves-they also enjoy a few verbal jabs with the boys.

"With the boy's and the girl's we kind of have like a feud-not a feud, but we kind of go against each other sometimes. Like we won and their like we won-like we just kind of use each other as a good thing instead of a bad thing," again said Jenny.

Along with Scranton Prep-Mountain View made history last year for the Lackawanna League with state playoff wins. They hope to continue the trend.
