SCRANTON — People were able to bid on supplies and decorations from the former Farley’s restaurant in downtown Scranton Monday.

The new owner of the building held an auction at the old restaurant at the corner of Adams Avenue and Linden Street.

A few dozen people made bids on items, including a movie poster from “The Exorcist III” signed by actor and Scranton native Jason Miller.

Miller, who frequented Farley’s was nominated for an academy award for his role as a priest in original Exorcist flick.

The place closed down last year.

The new owners of the building, Convenient Food Marts, plan to turn the building into an urban market in Scranton.
