23rd Walk for the Animals
SPCA of Luzerne County sponsors the “Walk for the Animals” at beautiful Frances Slocum State Park on Saturday, Oct. 5 starting at 9 a.m. Bring your pets & take-in fresh air on one of 2 designated walking trails for the day. The annual “Walk for the Animals” includes a T-shirt, goodie bag, donuts, & hot dogs after the walk. You may pre-register at spcaluzernecounty.org or register in person on the day of the walk.
NEPA BlogCon 2013
NEPA BlogCon will help individuals & businesses to optimize online communication using blogging and social media. BlogCon is held at Luzerne County Community College’s Educational Conference Center on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. A student discount is offered and the admission includes the sessions., swag bag and lunch. Proceeds benefit The Blue Chip Farms Animal Refuge. Tickets are available at nepablogcon.com. Tickets are $30 per person and $25 for a student with proof of valid student identification.
