HANOVER TOWNSHIP — A man hit by a car near Wilkes-Barre last week has died from his injuries, according to the coroner.
Brett Freed, 23, of Nanticoke died at the hospital Saturday.
Authorities say the man from Nanticoke was sitting along Main Street in Hanover Township one week ago when a vehicle hit him.
The coroner has ruled the death an accident.
