Marissa Surdy scored for Crestwood in the 1st half to go up on Holy Redeemer 1-0 Wednesday in girl's field hockey action. Then Surdy found teammate Morgan Kile near the cage on a beautiful goal and the Lady Comets led 2-0.
Jen Ringsdorf scored the lone goal for Holy Redeemer to slice into the lead at 2-1, but Ashleigh Thomas and Surdy added second half goals and the Crestwood Lady Comets field hockey team won 4-1 against Holy Redeemer in WVC action.
