WILLIAMSPORT -- It took a jury six hours to convict a man from Lycoming County on murder charges.
Police say, in February of 2012, William Kemp got into an argument with Thomas Schmitt at a home on Franklin Street in Williamsport. That's when witnesses said Kemp went out to his car, grabbed a gun and shot Schmitt several times.
Tuesday night, Kemp was found guilty for third-degree murder.
Sentencing is set for January in Williamsport.
