MOUNT POCONO — Two people face assault charges in Monroe County after authorities say they beat a man with a baseball bat.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. Monday at the Cloud Crest Apartments in Mount Pocono.
The victim told police he was attacked outside his apartment by Michele Szumera, 49, and Steven Pietrowicz, 37, both from Mount Pocono.
They are locked up in the Monroe County prison.
