Nick Donato likes his defense. The Cavaliers are big and physical. 6'7"  Noah Beh plays defensive end and most play ends when Noah knocks on the door.

"Noah is a very good football player. He's doing everything we ask him to do. We have some other kids that are doing a great job. Joe Holmes I think is a real quality defensive tackle. We have some other kids. We return about five or six kids from last year's team defensively," said Nick Donato.

"You just said it our defensive line I think we're pretty strong there, so that opens up for our linebackers to make plays, and our secondary has been doing a good job they lock down the guys on the receivers and that gets us some sacks," said Noah Beh.

"Talk about how much better Noah's got this year? Obviously he is a lot bigger and a lot smarter? Yes, Noah has worked real hard over the off-season. He's worked his technique a lot more so that helps a lot," said Joe Holmes.

Prep started fast last season then lost to some very tough teams down the stretch, but rebounded to win two eastern conference playoff games to finish (8-4).

"Every week we have a game-we can't take any team lightly. We have to come and play every single week," again said Joe.

Coach Donato credits the early season success for the Cavaliers due to the off-season weight program that was put in. Not only is the offense and defense improved, but they've had special plays from the special teams.

"We told our kids we lost a game a few years ago-an opener, and we just weren't ready with our special teams. I think that made an impression on all the kids. We worked really hard and we've gotten off to a good start. We blocked a punt for a touchdown. We returned a punt for a touchdown, and our kickoff team has done a pretty good job and we have a nice kicker," again said Coach Donato.

The schedule is tough, but so is Prep and talented.
