Cops: Bank Robber Fled On Bike

PENN FOREST TOWNSHIP — A man took off on a bicycle after holding up a bank in Carbon County, according to troopers.

State police were called to Jim Thorpe National Bank on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township, near Jim Thorpe around 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Troopers say the man – wearing all black and a mask – showed a weapon, grabbed some money, and got away on a bicycle.

Police said he was seen heading south on Route 903.
