CLARKS SUMMIT — Storm cleanup continues in Lackawanna County.
We found workers clearing a large tree that fell Wednesday, crushing part of the visitors’ bleachers at Comet Stadium on Linden Street in Clarks Summit.
The superintendent of the Abington Heights School District tells us it took a while for workers to remove the tree because of two bee hives inside.
The damaged bleachers will have to be replaced.
The Comets football team is on the road Friday playing against Williamsport
