WILKES-BARRE — A man from Luzerne County has been indicted by federal authorities on child pornography charges.
Michael Shaw, 38, was charged Tuesday with receiving and distributing child porn from 2012 until June of 2013.
Officers say he confessed to downloading about 100 pictures of boys from the internet.
Investigators say he also admits to molesting an 11-year-old boy from January, 2012 to January, 2013 and posting pictures of the abuse online.
If convicted on the federal charges, Shaw faces up to 20 years in prison.
