WILKES-BARRE -- A man accused of a vicious machete attack in Wilkes-Barre has been found guilty on all charges.
Police said Juan Borbon used a machete to nearly slice off the hand of Marquis Allen, 15, outside a school when the he tried to break up a fight.
Following about three hours of deliberations, a jury found Borbon guilty on all four charges, including two counts of aggravated assault.
On the stand, the 21 year old testified through an interpreter that he did not slash anyone.
It happened in February, 2012 near GAR High School.

Wilkes-Barre police say Marquis Allen tried to break the fight up but Borbon pulled out a machete and slashed Allen's wrist, nearly severing his hand.
It took a nine-hour surgery but doctors were able to save Allen's hand.
That teen's mother, Darlene Burt, told us after the verdict she's relieved the trial is over but her son is still struggling.
"He had to leave the courtroom when they pulled out the machete. It was just too much for him. When he seen it he just couldn't deal with it."
Investigators charged Borbon with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment and conspiracy.
Burt said she is relieved that the jury came back with a guilty verdict.
Burt says she's still homeschooling her children, but says they are not scared and they want to return to public school in the future.
The victim, Marquis Allen is now 16. He left the courtroom when prosecutors pulled out the machete to show the jury. He was apparently too shaken up and did not return for the verdict.
Borbon's bail was revoked, so he will be held in county jail until he is sentenced next month.
