SCRANTON — Prosecutors have withdrawn rape charges against a Scranton firefighter.

Brian Scott was accused of sexually assaulting a woman at his Woodlawn Street home in September of 2010.

The state attorney general’s office says the alleged victim did not wish to testify, so authorities say without her testimony they lack the evidence they need to proceed with the case.
