WILKES-BARRE — A woman who admitted stealing almost $17,000 from Luzerne County Community College was sentenced Tuesday.
Janet Griffith of Nanticoke was sentenced to two years’ probation with the first six months to be spent under house arrest.
Griffith was also ordered to pay back the money she took and write a letter of apology.
In July, Griffith pleaded guilty to stealing the money while a secretary at LCCC.
