WILLIAMSPORT -- A candlelight vigil in Williamsport honored the memory of two murder victims on Monday night.
Police believe someone murdered Gail Matthews and her daughter Tamara 19 years ago. The crime remains unsolved.
Family and friends gathered Monday night at Brandon Park in Williamsport. They say they will never give up trying to find out exactly what happened.
"It's important that you get it out there because if people forget about it and it gets left behind," said Julie Strobele, Gail Matthew's sister. "My family deserves to get justice for Gail and Tamara and will continue to do so until its solved and after."
The family says that detectives tell them they are getting closer to cracking the case in Williamsport.
