SCRANTON -- A truck got stuck under a railroad bridge in Scranton Sunday afternoon.

Police say the truck from Hazzouri Brothers got stuck around 1 p.m. as it tried to pass under the railroad bridge that goes over Luzerne Street in the area of Meridian Avenue.

The truck was empty and no one was hurt, but the top of the truck was peeled off.

Officials from Canadian Pacific checked out the bridge. They did not believe the incident would affect rail traffic.

Just days earlier, on Thursday, August 29, a truck hauling folding tables and chairs got stuck under a railroad bridge along Capouse Avenue in Scranton.
