UPDATE: Friday 10:30 a.m. — The Amber Alert issued for two missing girls in Berks County has been cancelled.
State police said both children have been recovered safely and the suspect is in custody.
WEST READING — Police have issued an Amber Alert for two missing girls from Berks County.
Authorities claim Dania Perez, 6, and Janeth Perez, 8, were taken from their home in West Reading Thursday night.
Police believe Hostin Perez-Corza, 23, took the girls.
According to officers, they were last seen in a 1999 white Ford Expedition, with PA registration JJZ-5836.
Anyone with information is asked to call state police.
