SCRANTON — A man turned himself in Wednesday to face charges for a hit and run earlier this summer in Lackawanna County.
Court papers show Jonathan Cadden hit Kim Piasecki in June along South Washington Avenue in Scranton.
Investigators say he ditched his SUV in a parking lot in Dunmore and reported it stolen in an attempt to hide the evidence.
Cadden told authorities he turned himself in because he was worried about Piasecki and couldn’t eat or sleep because of guilt.
Piasecki was hospitalized after the hit and run with what police called “serious injuries.”
