UPDATE 8/30 8:15 a.m.: Troopers in Schuylkill County said they have Edward Hill in custody; state police said Hill was involved in a manhunt lasting hours that started last night when the man from Hamburg aimed his rifle at troopers after a fight with the care taker of a mobile home park.

UPDATE 8/30: Troopers in Schuylkill County are still searching for Edward Hill Friday morning.  Authorities said special units accompanied by dogs to help locate the man who ran from troopers Thursday night.

Troopers said people near Molino should still be on alert until Hill is captured.

MOLINO --- In Schuylkill County, law enforcement responded to Happy Valley Trailer Court for a report of shots fired around 7 p.m. Thursday.

Upon responding, investigators told Newswatch 16, officers noticed a male coming out of wooded area with a firearm which they say he aimed at pointed at a State Trooper.

Investigators now say that trooper fired a shot at the suspect, Edward Hill, 54, who then fled back into a wooded area.

State Police and local forces have blocked off area roads searching for Hill and called in a state police helicopter to aid in the search.

People inside nearby homes and businesses were told to lock their cars and stay inside.

A Schuylkill County mobile emergency unit was brought to the scene at 9:30pm.

Anyone with information on Hill's whereabouts is urged to call 911.
