WILKES-BARRE — Jerry Sandusky’s appeals hearing is being moved. It was supposed to be held at Dallas High School in Luzerne County.

Instead, it will be held at the Luzerne County Courthouse in Wilkes-Barre next month.

Officials with the state Superior Court say the location has been changed because of media and public interest.

However, dozens of other appeals cases will still be heard at Dallas High on September 17.

Sandusky is asking the state Superior Court to overturn the verdict convicting him of sexually assaulting 10 boys while he was an assistant football coach at Penn State.
