LEHIGHTON --- A race car driver survived a fiery crash at a raceway in Carbon County over the weekend and the crash was caught on camera.

The video was posted on YouTube after the wreck Saturday at the Mahoning Valley Speedway in Lehighton.

The video was shot from inside the modified dirt track ride of driver Mike Stofflet on Saturday night.

You see the car flip on its side as Stofflet waits for track workers to help him out. You can also see fuel leaking from the car.

Then as workers try to help get the car right side up, the fuel touches the hot exhaust pipe and catches fire.

Stofflet was able to get out. He posted on YouTube he was just fine except for a sore neck.

Most incredibly, Stofflet and his crew fixed  up the car and he drove it to a fifth-place finish later Saturday night at Mahoning Valley Speedway in Lehighton.
