SWOYERSVILLE — Fraud charges have been dismissed against a contractor accused of scamming a customer in Luzerne County.
Lemire Brown surrendered to authorities in June at a magistrate’s office in West Pittston.
Police claimed Brown took a $4,000 deposit from a woman in Swoyersville and did not complete the work, leaving a large hole in the roof of the home.
Authorities have not said why the charges were dismissed.
