SCRANTON -- The NEPA Miners continued their 2013 success Saturday night, defeating the Watertown Red and Black 30-12.

Newswatch 16 Sports arrived at the game just before the first half ended, with Watertown scoring their first and only touchdown of the half.

On the ensuing kickoff, Mannie Stewart ran 73 yards to the end zone to take a 30-6 lead.

With three seconds left in the half, Watertown threw an interception to the Miners' Matt Jones.

The only score would be from the Red and Black in the second half; the Miners taking the victory. They are now 6-0 in league play and 7-1 overall.

Their next game is September 14 against the Syracuse Shock.
