PLYMOUTH — Friends and family gathered Saturday night at the spot where Fred Kleman was killed in Luzerne County.
It was more than a week ago that Kleman, 42, of Plymouth was hit and killed, and people involved with the neighborhood watch called for more to be done about aggressive driving in the borough.
People lit candles to remember Kleman who died after police say another man hit him intentionally after Kleman told him to slow down. Organizers want to raise money to help put signs up throughout Plymouth.
“Letting people know these are family friendly neighborhoods with plenty of children around, we need to keep the streets safe for the kids,” said organizer Monica Thomas.
State Police arrested Lorenzo Burgos, 21, and charged him in Kleman’s death in Luzerne County.
