PENN TOWNSHIP -- A woman who stole almost 35-thousand dollars from a daycare last year was sentenced Thursday afternoon.
Pamela Crites of milton received six to 23 months in jail for taking the money while she worked in the office at Children's Discovery Center near Selinsgrove.
Crites said she did it because finances were tight and intended to pay the money back but never did.
The stolen money was supposed to go to replacing toys, furniture and equipment at the daycare.
