PITTSTON — The charges against a man accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in Luzerne County were reduced to charges of unlawful contact.
After the alleged abuse was reported last September, investigators say Domingo Rios, of Pittston, left the area but was caught in North Carolina and brought back to Luzerne County.
Rios was originally charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and indecent assault.
He is locked up in Luzerne County with bail set at $250,000.
