SCRANTON -- Animal lovers in Scranton brought their pets out for a Sunday afternoon to raise money for Griffin Pond Animal Shelter.

The walk was held at Mcdade Park. The no-kill animal shelter near Clarks Summit relies completely on donations.

Pet owners received pledges, then took their pets for a stroll around the park.

While most people had dogs, there was one who brought their pet skunk along to the event.
