SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT -- Since opening ceremonies Thursday morning, it has been nonstop baseball action at the Little League World Series.

Fans from all over the world are in South Williamsport but some of the most dedicated fans are from right here in northeastern and central Pennsylvania.

While many people are visiting the Little League complex for the first time, some folks who live around here make it a yearly tradition.

"Since I was a little kid. That was many moons ago.  These are my granddaughters, they come up to watch the games," said Arb Brinser of Montoursville.

"We've been coming for the six past years but we always watch it on TV.  It's just a good atmosphere, especially for the kids and stuff," said Elizabeth Bowser of Beaver Springs

Many of the kids who come to the Little League World Series are baseball players themselves and dream of one day playing at Lamade Stadium.

"I want to be one of them when I get older," said Ethan Shilanski of Wilkes--Barre.

Ethan and his friends came to the Little League World Series with a group from Wilkes-Barre.

"It's a good experience and I have a lot of fun doing it," said Austin Sowga of Wilkes-Barre. "Last year was my first year. This is my second year."

"It's great to see the kids and their enthusiasm.  They just love it.  To hear all the countries speak and everything, we love it, seeing all the kids," said Debbie Shilanski of Wilkes-Barre

"I think it's the kids coming together from all around the world.  It's amazing to watch it," Brinser said.
