LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- It was a busy Thursday night on Montage Mountain.
The annual Peach Music Festival has kicked off, and thousands are camped out on the mountain for the event.
It is an event that draws bands, fans, and vendors to Montage Mountain for four days.
"There's just a phenomenal lineup, a good schedule," said Kelly Keown of New York.
"The vibes are just fantastic. It's so much fun being here already from the moment we walked into just wait until the music gets started," said Etan Wishnevski, also of New York.
In addition to The Peach Festival, there was adult swim night at the Montage Mountain Water Park, an event which attracts thousands of swimmers.
"Adult night has been extremely successful for us this year. We had one in June. The one in July actually brought in 2,200 people. We were really thrilled with it," said Jessica Kalinoski, who works for Montage Mountain.
While some jammed out and splashed around, others cheered on their home team.
The RailRiders played at home, taking on the Charlotte Knights and drawing a crowd at PNC Field on Montage Mountain.
"It is perfect northeast Pennsylvania weather, Snedeker said it was going to be nice and here it is!" said Jim McFeely of Dingmans Ferry.
Police were on hand to help with traffic on the mountain; not always an easy job.
"We have a total of about 14 officers out tonight to make sure everyone gets there safe and gets home safe. What we understand is a lot of them are going to stay up on the mountain for the four days so we'll have to see what the traffic problem is going to be," said Moosic Police Chief Charles Maurer, who added extra officers will be on hand through the end of the weekend to help with traffic.
In addition, the movie "Jobs" opened nationwide Thursday night and was shown at Cinemark on Montage Mountain. Two men from Lake Ariel helped write a song featured in the movie.
Rick Hovarth and Randy Light called the night exciting.
"We have been waiting for this for quite a while, we knew about it since December of last year and they pushed the movie back. We're really looking forward to seeing it," said Hovarth.
