Two Men Sentenced for Bank Robberies

HONESDALE -- Two men were sentenced Thursday for separate bank robberies in Wayne County.

Steven French of New Jersey received up to seven years in prison for robbing Citizens Savings Bank in Honesdale last February.

Dennis Mcguire of Clifton also was sentenced to up to seven years for his role at a hold up at a PNC Bank in Newfoundland last April.

Both will spend their sentences in state prison and pay restitution fines.
