Troopers: Gun Goes Off, Two Rushed to Hospital

SIMPSON -- Authorities said at two people were rushed to the hospital after a late night shooting in Lackawanna County.

It happened in the 300 block of Jefferson Street in Simpson around 10:00 Tuesday night.

According to state police, Bruno Rocuba, 47, was holding a gun and it went off.  The bullet went through his hand and hit Melissa Rocuba, 43, in the head.

Troopers have not given their condition.
