STROUDSBURG — A Monroe County man was sentenced to five years behind bars on drug and money laundering charges, according to the United States Attorney’s Office.
Authorities said Dickson Gutierrez, 37, of Stroudsburg admitted to conspiring to both sell cocaine and launder money in Monroe and Northampton Counties in 2011.
As part of a plea deal, Gutierrez agreed to hand over two properties in the Dominican Republic which were bought with drug money.
