SHAVERTOWN — A business man from Luzerne County was charged by the United States Attorney’s Office for allegedly being part of a fraud scheme.
According to court paperwork, Timothy Turner, 36, of Shavertown claimed to be a debt relief counselor, who would negotiate with creditors.
Authorities said the man would pocket his client’s cash instead
Turner faces 20 years behind bars if he is found guilty.
