SHICKSHINNY — State police in Luzerne County said a man is dead after he was hit by a car.
Troopers said the crash happened around 2:20 a.m. Sunday on Route 239 in Union Township, near Shickshinny.
According to authorities, Wayne Burnside, 49, was sitting on Route 239 when he was hit by a vehicle.
Troopers are still investigating the deadly crash.
