SCRANTON — The son of Dunmore’s mayor will spend up to 30 years behind bars for setting a fire that sent several people to the hospital.
Judge Michael Barrasse sentenced Mark Loughney to 10 to 30 years in state prison on Thursday.
Loughney pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and arson charges in December.
Prosecutors say he set a fire at a home on Electric Street in Dunmore in 2012 after an argument with some people inside.
