CARBONDALE — Crews are cleaning up after an oil spill in Lackawanna County.
Firefighters tell us a vehicle leaked oil in a gas station parking lot along Brooklyn Street in Carbondale before 1 p.m. Thursday.
Crews said they would normally not be concerned, but they were worried the rain would wash the oil into a nearby creek.
Experts from the Department of Environmental Protection will handle the clean-up.
