SCRANTON — For the first time in more than 30 years, a new person will head the Greater Scranton Chamber Of Commerce.

At a news conference Monday morning in Scranton, Robert Durkin was named the new president and CEO.

Most recently, he had been the director of the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute.

Durkin will replace Austin Burke when he retires in September.
