MINVERSVILLE — Police in Schuylkill County believe a man stabbed a migrant worker during a robbery attempt in Minersville on Monday.
Officers have charged Warren Frey, 24, of Minersville with the attempted murder of Ezequiel Zavala Pantoja.
Court papers indicate Frey along with two accomplices broke into the Pantoja’s home and demanded cash while brandishing a knife.
Police say Zavala was stabbed multiple times in the head and the suspects got away with $2,200.
The investigation continues into the stabbing in Schuylkill County.
