60th Annual Picnic in the Grove
In Mountain Top, St. Jude Parish has the 60th Annual “Picnic in the Grove” off Route 309. The picnic is Aug. 9, 10 & 11; on Friday & Saturday, 4 p.m. – 11 p.m. and Sunday, noon – 9 p.m. The picnic includes food, music, a raffle of cash prizes, games for children & an open-pit chicken BBQ on Sunday.
20th Annual Great Pottsville Cruise
Pottsville Lions Club hold the Annual Great Pottsville Cruise on Saturday, Aug. 10 at Jerry’s Classic Cars & Collectibles Museum on S. Centre Street in Pottsville. The event features live music, trophies & vendors. There’s a Raffle Run from 9 a.m. – noon, enjoy the museum noon – 4 p.m. and the Cruise-in-Show is from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.
