ROQUE BLUFFS, MAINE — A woman from Sunbury is identified as a drowning victim in the state of Maine.

The body of Melissa Moyer, 38, was one of two people that were pulled from a car that was underwater.

The other victim was identified as the driver, Amy Stiner, 37, of Machias, who was 5 months pregnant.

Police in Maine say the two were reported missing on some nearby hiking trails, but were found and returned to their vehicle.

However, just a few minutes later, police say their car went into the water, off the Pond Cove boat ramp.

Investigators in Maine say it was rainy and foggy at the time of the accident.
